Group buys
Group buys (bundles) let collectors pool demand for things that only make sense at volume — reproduction parts, small production runs and pre-orders. You commit up front, but you're only charged if enough people join for the bundle to go ahead.

How a group buy works
A group buy sets a target — the number of commitments needed for it to happen — and runs until it's reached or the window closes.
- Join a group buy for an item you want.
- Your card is authorised now, not charged. The amount is held as a pending authorisation.
- If the bundle reaches its target and funds, everyone's card is charged and the run goes ahead.
- If it doesn't fund, nothing is charged and the authorisation is released.
Joining places a hold on your card, not a payment. You're only charged if the group buy funds — if it falls short, the hold drops off and you pay nothing.
Group buys are fulfilled off-platform. Once a bundle funds and every backer's card is charged, the organiser arranges the run and contacts backers directly about delivery — a group buy doesn't go through the standard marketplace order, shipping or buyer-protection flow that a normal sale does.
